Tomorrow the Stop5GNL foundation will bring summary proceedings against the State. Privacy First supports this summary action, given the great uncertainty about the health risks of 5G technology. It is important that 5G is a completely new technology. Unlike with 4G, the frequencies aimed at the users are radiated by the transmission mast. This requires massive numbers of cell towers that “beam” this high-frequency radiation, according to the Privacy First foundation.
Privacy First stands for its own choices in a free environment and is based on the basic principles of the rule of law and Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights (ECHR). Within this broad privacy approach, the protection of privacy, a free living environment and the right to physical integrity are central. If the harmfulness of 5G is not properly investigated and adequately covered, the above matters will be immediately violated. Our government has a human rights duty to guard our health. It is therefore incomprehensible that the European Union is the leading force behind 5G and is pushing the Member States to introduce this technology this year.
In addition to the above risks, 5G also poses other privacy risks, namely from the so-called Smart Grids and Smart Cities. These networks, in which billions of devices are connected and communicate with each other, are a great threat to our privacy. It is high time that there was a broad social discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of these networks and to what extent there will still be freedom of choice in a free environment in the near future. Billions are invested in these “smart” networks without there being always clear benefits for the citizen. It is also questionable whether all “smart” solutions are based on privacy by design and privacy enhanced technology.

Interlocutory proceedings against the Dutch state to stop 5G
The Stop5GNL foundation starts summary proceedings against the State with the aim of stopping the roll-out of 5G. The state is acting unlawfully for failing to protect civilians from the dangerous consequences of exposure to 5G electromagnetic fields. This obligation is established by law. We therefore have no choice but to call in the judiciary.
The government ignores all warnings
We have been working for years to raise awareness about the harmful effects of EMF. In every way we try to give politicians, the administrators in this country, from local to national, more insight into the biological effects and the damage to everything that lives. We also point out to directors their responsibility and legal obligation to protect their own population against undermining radiation. All this has so far not led to the desired result, on the contrary: the national government continues to prepare for the roll-out of 5G.
No research has been conducted into the risks of 5G
To date, little research has been conducted into the potential health risks of exposure to 5G. The Health Council confirms this and indicates in a broadcast on RTLZ on 9 September that there are many business interests in rolling out 5G, without proper research into what the consequences will be. The existing research shows that permanent damage can occur .
252 scientists sounding the alarm
The Dutch state ignores 252 scientists from 43 countries who have all conducted research into the harmful effects of electromagnetic fields on humans, animals and the environment and who warn about their harmful effects. In the EMF Scientist Appeal, they urgently appeal to the member states of the UN – including the Netherlands – to better protect health when exposed to EMF. This is because, according to the scientists, the enormous densification of antennas at 5G will lead to increasing health risks and to a global crisis.
Roll-out of 5G must be stopped!
It is very urgent that 5G be stopped. With 5G, there will be a huge increase in antennas. It talks about 5 to 10 times more antennas, every 100 meters. The radiation load is expected to increase by a factor of 10 to 100. The antennas will be placed close to residential areas and on houses and buildings and will use much higher frequencies, with larger biologically disturbing pulsations and more dangerous signal characteristics.
On April 20, the Stop5G Netherlands Foundation sent a press release to all media to inform them about the summary proceedings with the request to pay attention to it. That is more necessary than ever now that the media is mainly talking about transmission mast fires and corona in relation to 5G, but this – although the exciting news seems – according to Stop5GNL is very distracting from the real story that must be told about 5G and the health risks associated with it. Summary proceedings Stichting Stop5GNL against the Dutch State
The summary proceedings against the roll-out of 5G – the hearing of which is scheduled for April 21, – will continue. The court has classified the summary proceedings as very urgent and will therefore be litigating. However, due to the closure of most courts in connection with the coronavirus outbreak, the hearing has been canceled and the procedure will be conducted entirely in writing.
It is good news for the Stop5G Nederland foundation that the procedure is continuing and that it has been designated as very urgent. The roll-out of 5G and the auctioning of the frequencies will continue unabated, despite the outbreak of the coronavirus, which has brought the entire social life to a halt. At the moment, the media mainly mentions radio mast fires and corona in relation to 5G, but this – although it seems exciting news – is very distracting from the real story, according to Stop5GNL.
In a statement, Stop5GNl has explicitly distanced itself from the transmission mast fires and indicates that it works in accordance with the rules of democracy and the rule of law in the Netherlands and that it wants to obtain justice by law. At the same time, she wonders whether 5G can be linked to this and that conclusions should not be drawn too quickly now that it is by no means certain how the fires started.
The real story to tell is that it doesn’t take a corona to show that it is unlawful to roll out 5G. The connection with corona has not been demonstrated and does not appear in our subpoena. What does occur are numerous studies that show harmful effects and the fact that the guidelines now used and which should provide us with safety are only based on warming effects and do not protect us adequately.
This also says Prof. dr. ir. Kromhout, chairman of the Electromagnetic Fields Committee of the Health Council, who recently criticized 5G: “He calls it ‘very special’ that the ICNIRP standards ‘have received so much power in Europe’ and states that only looking at heat is not enough. “If you see that under the level of 1 degree warming, which ICNIRP maintains, all kinds of effects do occur, you have to go a step further at some point. He also says, “You shouldn’t just let the industry go about it. In Switzerland and Slovenia and various municipalities in Italy, it has now been decided not to roll out 5G for the time being due to the health risks. France, Portugal, Spain and Austria also postpone the auction and the roll-out until further notice.
